Profectus Chamber Choir Inc. is a non-profit choral organization dedicated to bringing high-quality choral and vocal music to Southern California. We perform vocal music from early Renaissance to contemporary a cappella and everything in between. Most of us met singing in the Mt. San Antonio College Chamber Choir and wanted to continue the tradition; hence our name, which means "a journey" or "continuation."

The vision of Profectus Chamber Choir is to nurture and inspire a musically-involved community through high caliber live performances and recordings of diverse musical genres. We seek to foster intimate connections and relationships through the universal language of music.

Meet the Board

Mike Capps - Board President

Mike keeps the big picture in focus. He leads the board, sets the tone, and helps make sure we’re always moving with purpose.

Laura Ferree - Vice President and Social Media

Laura is our voice online. She brings creativity, consistency, and connection to how we show up on social media.

Rigo Orozco - Artistic Co-Director and Treasurer

Rigo keeps us grounded and growing. He handles the numbers, the budgets, and all things financial with care and clarity.

Shay Stickley - Artistic Co-Director and Secretary

Shay is the glue. They keep track of the details, organize our board work, and make sure nothing slips through the cracks.
